My recent trip round the Ciclades Islands follows long periods of lock down in many European countries, including the UK and Greece. 
The warmth of the welcome given to myself and my wife wherever we went was amazing, probably reflecting the general absence of travellers for over a year. But it was obvious that some establishments, despite their best intentions, were struggling to recover from the months of shut down.
